All of my vessels and bowls are formed by hand with a combination of steel, wood and nylon tools. Due to this process each piece is completely unique. Oxidisation is a surface patina and will naturally change over time.
Hammer raising is an ancient hand technique that has been used to produce metal vessels for centuries, even with the introduction of alternative machine driven techniques it is still practised today. It is a time consuming technique and takes years of practice to master but there are such unique and beautiful qualities that just can’t be mimicked.
