Product Care.

 

Oxidised Silver and Copper

Any piece of oxidised silver or copper will be prone to wear, as it is a surface patina. However this can add to the surface and represent your relationship with the object. Alternatively the oxidised finish can be re-applied if you wish. Please contact Melissa if you wish to arrange for an item to be re-oxidised. For general day-to-day care the colour can be maintained by using Renaissance wax, which should be gently applied with a soft cloth and any residue carefully polished off. Please be sure only to use a soft cloth that is not impregnated with any kind of jewellery cleaning substance as this will further remove the oxidisation. You can wash the oxidised item with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, however you are advised not to use any kind of abrasive cloth on the oxidised surface.

 

Delivery & Returns.

 

Delivery

Where possible in stock items will be shipped within 2-3 days of purchase providing it is not a bank holiday weekend.

Delivery of made to order commissions will be discussed on an individual basis.

All items under £50 will be sent free of charge by Royal Mail 1st class post, however there is a chargeable upgrade option for Royal Mail Special Delivery. All items over £50 will be sent free of charge by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Returns

If you find the item is not what you expected a full refund will be given minus any shipping costs. Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase and must be in their original condition. However in special circumstances we can discuss options.

Please note: Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for earrings or made to order commissions.
