Not suitable for liquid
A collection of three decorative oxidised copper pots with brass handles on an Elm base. Scaling up the size of my smaller pot collections, the central pot has a soldered base but the other two are bottomless, all pots have one or two fixed brass handles.
These pots are created from a combination of found objects and sheet metal and are inspired by archaic forms. Each pot is hammered and formed then put together in a curated collection. These collections play with the idea of function, using various handles and the suggestion of a base or lid, which on closer inspection are not what they seem.
Oxidisation is a surface patina and may change through handling of the piece.
Please note: these pots are not suitable for liquid but can hold a dried stem or similar.
